Micki’s love of theatre began when she was a little girl, as outings to the theatre were a special family activity. Since then her passion and love of theatre has grown, and has led her to where she is today.
After receiving her BFA and MFA from the University of Illinois. she started at Arlene Wilson Talent Agency. There she worked under Erica Daniels and “started to learn the biz.” Her focus there was casting for film, television, and stage.
Marriage and 3 beautiful kids came next, and then it was time to get back into directing musical theatre.
For the last 22 years, she has been a children’s musical theatre director in the western suburbs. There she honed her skills and developed lifelong friendships with students and parents alike.
She is so excited to bring her passion for the arts, love of her students and zest for life to Ghostlight ETC. As the artistic director she hopes to create a welcoming, loving environment where all of her students feel they can be who they are and express themselves through theatre.
