The Prom- high school/college (Pay In Full)
This program is for students entering 9th grade through college in the 2023-24 school year.
Auditions:
Wednesday, September 20th 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Friday, September 22nd 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
(Please sign up for a time slot after you have registered using the audition link in your confirmation email; callbacks are by invitation via email only)
Callbacks (if called via email): Sunday, September 24th @ 4:00 pm
Rehearsals (rehearsals begin Monday, October 2nd):
Mondays and Wednesdays 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Casts requests must be submitted in writing at the time of your audition. We do not accept cast requests electronically or on our audition forms. We reserve the right to deny cast requests to accommodate production/casting needs.

Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to transform lives, Broadway’s brassiest join forces with a courageous girl and the town’s citizens and the result is love that brings them all together. Winner of the Drama Desk Award for Best Musical, THE PROM expertly captures all the humor and heart of a classic musical comedy with a message that resonates with audiences now more than ever.
Ghostlight’s high school productions are a place for young actors and musicians to expand their theatrical horizons, develop a sense of group work ethic, and create lasting relationships through teamwork. Our High School program is a great way for your students to find their voice and build a sense of artistic community. The Ghostlight ETC team prides ourselves on giving our students a full and fantastic theatre experience in each and every show.
Your all-inclusive enrollment fee includes:
· Weekly classes
· A libretto/vocal book
· Tech rehearsals and performances
· All necessary costume pieces (to be layered on top of basic black and white clothes and shoes provided by the actor)
· A cast t-shirt
